THE BIGGEST FRAUD/SCAM GOING ON NOW IS YOU RECIEVE A PHONE CALL SAYING THAT THEY ARE FROM THE IRS.  THE MESSAGE STATES THAT YOU OWE THE IRS AND THAT THEY HAVE ISSUED A WARRANT FOR YOUR ARREST.   THE IRS NEVER CALLS YOU.   THE IRS ONLY SENDS LETTER LETTING YOU KNOW TO CONTACT THEM.   NEVER GIVE ANYONE INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE THAT CALLS YOU STATING THEY ARE THE IRS.

Refunds for returns filed prior to 3/1/16 are expected to be issued within two to three weeks of 3/1/16. Refund status becomes available when your refund is processing not necessarily when the SCDOR receives your return.

The tax payer did not believe that she was a business so did not keep records of her expense and income. She was able however to estimate them, but was charged taxes and penalties.
